Mona V Studios is the living space for the work of Mona Abraham. Mona is a multimedia visual artist and aspiring fashion designer. She split her adolescence between Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. The rich artistry of the Virginia Highlands and Atlanta scenes, as well as exposure to various forms of fine art and music, influenced her current taste. She began her artistic career at the Lore Emelio Design Studio in 2013. After graduating from Northwest School of the Arts, she is continuing her studies at North Carolina State University, majoring in Art & Design with a concentration in Fibers and Fashion.
She hopes to design solutions for sustainable practices and systems in fashion, as well as applications for material exploration in fibers. In this, coupled with a concern of the need for social change, she finds that there is room for a transformation in the way we consume products and art, as well as the culture that sustains it.
