The Compressible Carry-On, 2022
For the Industrial Design Studio II, one of our projects was to "design a better carry-on". I chose a demographic that I had access to in order to research - low income college students and young adults who use public transportation for travel. In learning design thinking for industrial design, I employed the processes of user and material research, as well as iterative design. The final carry-on is made to me compressed to 20% of its original volume in order to be stowed away in compact living spaces and features internal organization for the on-the-go student.
Fibers Exploration: Wet Felting and Dyeing, 2022
For a Fibers, Materials, and Processes Course I was prompted to explore various modes of fiber manipulation including weaving, dry and wet felting, crocheting, and yarn spinning.
Clavicle, 2019
A First Year Experience design project involving the creation of a paper wearable

The wearable needed to accentuate a body part of choice: the collarbone and shoulder. These essential elements with abnormal movements usually go unnoticed. Apart from dramatizing and accentuating their superficial bone structure, the piece mimics their movement, flexing with the body. Clavicle is an ode to the small, elegant elements of life which provide support without recognition.
Illumination & Transformation, 2019
A First Year Experience design project using materials that manipulate light and create a transformative user experience

This piece encourages users to practice introspection by way of physical and figurative reflection. Interaction comes into play when two subjects enter; they see their own reflections inside and then their partner as they remove themselves. It also illustrates the contrast between the view of oneself and that of others, acting as a manifestation of ever-changing perspectives and self-awareness.
